Thank you for this wonderfully written article. It really makes me have a better understanding and appreciation of both types of astrology, tropical and sidriel which I really like to get two readings every year at the beginning of the year to see what my outlook will be.

Excellent ideas. I trained at the Jung Institute in Zürich in the early 80s. Archetypes are the cosmic laws of life but they are just structures that each society and each person fills in with new information and belief. As the old beliefs wear down, the archetypes become stereotypes. The archetype of the Bard or storyteller and memory keeper has become the stereotype of the entertainer. The archetypes are being renewed now. As you’re doing and as many of us are doing Just as the archetype of the negative mother - so prevalent in patriarchy - is being renewed, as the goddess of wisdom

I appreciated the list of sign allocations very much, and always appreciate your persistent approach to redefining and clarifying the essence of our astrological elements. Whether we say we are bringing things forward or just digging ourselves our from under the junk that's been piled on those things, it is much needed to do and a clear sign of our transition into an age of greater consciousness.
I'm so glad you are doing this work, Daniel. I agree it is much needed, and a counterpoint to those who continue to argue which Zodiac is better or more accurate. Your approach has the depth necessary to truly examine the existential questions of astrology.
