Moon, Mercury and Mars are within a small circle of about 4degrees, ca. 17degrees from the Sun. Mars and Mercury are just rising in the morning sky and can be challenging to see. This is the first alignment of the Moon with Mars in his Rebirth and Growth of Wisdom since his underworld sojourn, signifying whether or not Mars actually learned anything in the underworld. He is no doubt being interrogated by the now birthing Mercury in Pisces. Mercury is also in a significant alignment with the North Node at 8Pisces58 today. A great deal of compassion and empathy is available - and it may be necessary … for self and others.
Closest New Moon to The Aries Equinox
Wednesday, March 18, New Moon at 28Pisces27.
Here we have the closest New Moon to the Aries Equinox, happening just a day and a half prior. Ancient and traditional peoples often attributed greater power and significance to the union of Lunar and Solar significators. It is noteworthy that this is the zodiacal zone that has been so important in the recent movements of Saturn and Neptune as they were inching into Aries, retrograding back into late Pisces, and now both fully ventured into Aries. The possible cross-pollination of Pisces with Aries, two very different Mystery Schools of Life, continues to be a dominant theme of these times.

Friday, March 20 - What a Day!
Moon conjuncts Venus at 2:23AM PDT at 17Aries18
This is the Reproductive Chakra portal. At this point, Venus is an evening planet, to be seen 17-18degrees from the Sun after sunset. It is most interesting that in this particular Venus-Mars Underworld Saga, the risings of Venus and Mars are bracketing the Equinox on opposite sides of the Sun!
The Aries Equinox itself at 7:46AM PDT
Since the beginning of the Age of Taurus and soon after the start of the Kali Yuga, the Aries Equinox has been the most used New Year date for a good portion of the Northern Hemisphere. In the Hellenistic tropical zodiac it has served as the starting point of the first sign. In sidereal zodiacs used prior to this, it was actually the Bull Constellation that led the herd.
Mercury turns direct at 12:33PM PDT at 8Pisces29
Mercury is now about 22degrees from the Sun in the morning sky and begins the Pisces Overstory which will last for 125 days.
Soon to follow are Mercury’s yearly Solar conjunctions with Neptune on March 22 and with Saturn on March 24. Mars will cross 0Aries on April 9. On March 23 Moon, Saturn and Neptune will be in a small four degree circle, but too close to the Sun to be seen.

It is rather obvious at this point that 0Aries and the final degrees of Pisces hold acute relevance for the current initiatory process global humanity is now experiencing. Our hope is that the compassion and celestial grace and mercy of Pisces can assist in the process of transforming classical and patriarchal Aries from focus on war, winning and domination, into something more life-affirming. “SCENE ONE: DESIRE (Aries 1° to Aries 15°)
FIRST LEVEL: ACTIONAL
PHASE 1 (ARIES 1°):
A WOMAN JUST RISEN FROM THE SEA. A SEAL IS EMBRACING HER.
KEYNOTE: Emergence of new forms and of the potentiality of consciousness.
This is the first of the 360 phases of a universal and multilevel cyclic process which aims at the actualization of a particular set of potentialities. These potentialities, in the Sabian symbols, refer to the development of man’s individualized consciousness — the consciousness of being an individual person with a place and function (a ‘destiny’) in the planetary organism of the Earth, and in a particular type of human society and culture.
To be individually conscious means to emerge out of the sea of generic and collective consciousness — which to the emerged mind appears to be unconsciousness. Such an emergence is the primary event. It is the result of some basic action: a leaving behind, an emerging from a womb or matrix, here symbolized by the sea.
Such an action is not to be considered a powerful, positive statement of individual being. In the beginning is the Act; but it is often an imperceptible, insecure act. The small tender germ out of the seed does not loudly proclaim its existence. It has to pierce through the crust of the soil still covered with the remains of the past. It is all potentiality and a minimum of actual presence.
In the symbol, therefore, the emergent entity is a Woman; symbolically speaking, a form of existence still close to the unconscious depths of generic biological nature, filled with the desire to be rather than self-assertion. The woman is seen embraced by a seal because the seal is a mammal which once had experienced a biological, evolutionary but relatively unconscious emergence, yet which retraced its steps and ‘returned to the womb’ of the sea. The seal, therefore, represents a regressive step. It embraces the Woman who has emerged, because every emergent process at first is susceptible to failure. This process is indeed surrounded by the memory, the ghosts of past failures during previous cycles. The impulse upward is held back by regressive fear or insecurity; the issue of the conflict depends on the relative strength of the future-ward and the past-ward forces.
The possibility of success and that of failure is implied throughout the entire process of actualization. Every release of potentiality contains this two-fold possibility. It inevitably opens up two paths: one leads to ‘perfection’ in consciousness, the other to ‘disintegration’ - the return to the undifferentiated state (the state of humus, manure, cosmic dust - i.e. to the symbolic ‘great Waters of space,’ to chaos).
This symbol characterizes the first of five stages which are repeated at three levels. This stage represents the initial statement, or theme, of the five-fold series which refers to the first level: IMPULSE TO BE.”

Weeks Ahead Filled With Challenges
Surely, the weeks ahead will be filled with challenges. What happens around this Equinox can be thought of as a seed for the coming year or longer and will offer clues presaging the Third Uranus Return of the United States and the end of the Fourth Turning. Let’s do our part to remain objective and neutral, and not be caught up in partisan allegiances. And neither fall into the trap of winning vs. losing. At the end of Kali Yuga and at this Great Turning, any remains of the old “eye for an eye, tooth or a tooth” approach are required to be composted. The end never justify the means.
